Faith Foundations

In this sermon titled "Faith Foundations" from Matthew 7, Pastor Battle helps us understand that if we are going to live out the gospel and be true followers of Jesus, we must have a good foundation. We must consider the ways in which our lives are a reflection of what we profess to believe in. In order to build a foundation that is rooted in our trust and belief in God, we must first anticipate that storms will come - our faith will be tested, and our responses will indicate who or what we trust (v. 25). Furthermore, we build our foundation when we stop being judgmental (vs. 1-4), ask and (most importantly) seek God (vs. 7), and avoid false & fruitless people (vs. 15-23).
