God, Keep Your Hands On Me
In this sermon from 2 Timothy 1:6 titled “God, Keep Your Hands On Me,” Pastor Battle reminds us of the importance of God’s hands in our lives and the need to demonstrate God’s love to others. More specifically, we need to remember the importance of our ordained ministry assignment (2 Tim. 1:6) - God sends people in our lives to cultivate and grow us so that we can embrace what God has called us to do. As we pursue this God-given call, we must also protect God’s gifts, as there are ungodly influences that will try to steal our joy and derail us (2 Tim. 1:6; 1 Tim. 4:1-6). Finally, we must be sure to expand God’s gifts; as we carry out our assignments, we should be life givers, talking up and representing God in such a way that others will be drawn to God (2 Tim. 1:6; 1 Tim. 4:14-16).
