There Was No Room For Them

In this Advent message, Pastor Battle preaches from Luke 2:6-7 from the title “There Was No Room For Them” to help us understand what the birth of Jesus means for our faith. More specifically, we must learn to make room for the Savior (Luke 2:6-7); Jesus wants to show up and do the miraculous in our lives, but the question we must ask ourselves is are we creating space for Jesus to act? We must also be prepared & ready to embrace new places & people (Luke 2:4, 16-18). When God moves, God will often send us places that are unfamiliar and move us into relationships with people we do not know. But when we embrace this newness, we create the possibility of experience God’s blessing, grace and goodness. Furthermore, we must learn to rejoice when we see what God said (Luke 2:20) because it is a testament to the fact that God’s Word can always be trusted.
