Western Avenue Worship Service - April 24, 2022

Pastor Battle preaches from Mark 14:27-42 from the subject "The Peter Complex." From this text, which invites us to witness some of Jesus' last moments before He heads to the cross and Peter's desire to avoid conflict, Pastor Battle suggests that we will not be able to avoid every trial nor fix every conflict we encounter. Rather, we should strive to be like Jesus in the place called Gethsemane and trust in the trial, believing that God knows what He is doing. When we trust in the trial, God will give us the strength to carry us through, allowing God to turn every trial into a testimony in our lives.
