It's Time To Grow: Stretching Seasons
In this sermon titled “It’s Time To Grow: Stretching Seasons” from Exodus 14:14-16, Pastor Battle challenges us to consider that often, God doesn’t move until we stretch out on faith. If we pray for something new, we must be open to God calling us deeper. More specifically, we have to learn how to depend on God and ourselves (Exodus 7-10). We must do the work on ourselves, which gives God room and space to do what we cannot. God is willing and able to give us wisdom and perspective, but are we willing to step out on faith with God? Furthermore, in our stretching seasons, we must learn to expect greater things (Exodus 7-14); God can do the miraculous, and we should look for God to do more than we can imagine. Finally, we must recognize the difference between breaking points and breakthroughs (Exodus 10-12). It is often when we are at the point of giving up that we experience our breakthrough. Don’t give up - God can do it for you.
