Random Moves Of God
Pastor Jeremy D. Battle
In this sermon titled “Random Moves Of God” from John 4, Pastor Battle uses Jesus’ interaction with the Samaritan woman at the well to illustrate that even when life appears random, God is always doing something in our lives. However, we won’t understand what God is doing nor know who God is unless we serve God (vs. 7-10). Many believers experience a conflict between knowing & serving God; we expect God to show up for us, but this text is a reminder that the more we serve God, the more God reveals Himself to us. When we serve God, we begin to understand that God intentionally uses situations to reveal His deeper plan (vs. 12-14) and calls us out to correct & change us so that we might have a testimony that brings others to God.
