God, Keep Your Hands On Me

Aug 13, 2023    Min. Farris Blount III

In this sermon from Jonah 1:1-12, Min. Farris preaches from the subject “God, Keep Your Hands On Me” to remind us of the importance of following God’s purpose for our lives, even when we don’t want to do what God expects. More specifically, it is critical for us to embrace God’s will for us because in doing so, we can recognize our God-assignment (vs. 1-6); no matter who we are, we all have a responsibility to share the good news of Jesus Christ. We must also realize the possibility of our God-sized impact (vs. 7-12). Our decision to accept or reject what God has in store for us can significantly affect those around us.
