On Sunday, November 24th, Pastor Battle preached from 1 Thessalonians 5:12-18 to emphasize the importance of generosity & graciousness in the life of the believer. A Christian must be able to recognize those who are in positions of leadership who serve the Lord but must also be patient with those who are unruly (out of order), fainthearted (discouraged), and weak (without strength). Finally, in every season, a believer must be able to rejoice, pray continually, and give thanks for their God - these acts will remind the Christian of God's graciousness and generosity and allow them to treat others in a similar manner.
