On Sunday, December 22nd, Pastor Battle preached from Matthew 2:1-15 as he explored the story of the wise men coming to see Jesus in the Christmas narrative. He emphasized that the birth of our Savior demonstrates the authority of Jesus, the need to bring Jesus our best (excellence) because we are in relationship with our Savior (expectancy), and how God's moving presence will direct, guide, keep, and protect us as we go deeper with Him.
