In this sermon from Haggai 2:1-9 titled “Lessons From The Prophets,” Pastor Battle examines the words of the Old Testament prophet Haggai to suggest what it means for us to return to God and make God the priority in our lives. We must learn how to make room for God; if we are not careful, we will be so consumed with everyone and everything other than God that we don’t take the time to bring everything to God. Secondly, we must treat God the way we want to be treated. Just like we want God to give us His best, we should give God our best. Finally, we must avoid making incorrect appraisals and value assessments of what God can do. Often, God uses what appears to be small or insignificant to do something great.
