Lessons From The Potter

In this sermon from Jeremiah 18:1-11 titled “Lessons From The Potter,” Pastor Battle emphasizes that even when we get out of the will of God and mess up God’s good thing, God can still work on us and put us back on the right track. More specifically, Jeremiah teaches us that we must remain flexible for God to restore and renew us; we must be open to whatever God wants to do to get where we need to be (vs. 1-3). We must also allow God to use everything, realizing that nothing is wasted - no experience, situation, etc (v. 4). Finally, we need to give God permission, particularly to correct us (vs. 5-11). When we give God permission, God will demonstrate His goodness and graciousness in ways we never could have imagined.
